So I sent Cecil a sweatervest and today I received a thank-you email and this from him and I regret everything and nothing.
When I go into a local yarn shop and there are no crochet patterns, books, or yarns, and the proprietors are badmouthing crocheters.
Wait, crochet yarns?
Well, having all of the walls filled with specialty knitting yarns and very few options ideal for crochet. Because really, how many crochet projects call for sock yarn?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a yarn shop that didn’t have DK and Worsted in ample supply. Those are, like, The Typical Weights™.

I finished my toy Khoshekh!
I’m going to make another, but with the colours inverted. One of them is the Khoshekh from Desert Bluffs. One is from Night Vale. Which one? You won’t know until you give them a cuddle.
